Hij biedt een nominaal volume van 100 ml (0.1 l) en een lengte van 205 mm voor praktisch hanteren tijdens routinematige bemonstering en overdracht. Productie, assemblage en verpakking vinden plaats onder cleanroomklasse 7, waarna elke schep afzonderlijk wordt verpakt en met gammastraling wordt gesteriliseerd.
