DURAN® automatic burette according to Pellet, Class AS, is a precision volumetric instrument for titrimetric and quantitative analytical work. Fabricated from chemically highly resistant borosilicate glass 3.3, the 25 ml burette carries a precise scale that allows the previously unknown liquid volume consumed in a titration to be read with high accuracy once the reaction is complete. Calibration is performed to deliver (Ex) at a reference temperature of +20 °C, so dispensed volumes correspond exactly to the graduation; liquid adhesion on the glass is already taken into account. Volume tolerances meet the error limits of ISO and DIN for accuracy class AS. The instrument is supplied with a PTFE key and burette bottle; unlike glass keys, PTFE keys require no greasing and thereby simplify routine laboratory handling. Burettes of class AS that carry a batch number are accompanied by a batch certificate documenting the mean value of the batch, the standard deviation and the date of issue; certificates are also retrievable online.
