DURAN® automatic burette, Class AS according to Pellet, with glass key is a precision volumetric instrument fabricated from chemically highly resistant borosilicate glass 3.3. The 50 ml nominal volume supports titrimetric procedures in which the previously unknown liquid quantity required for titration can be read with high accuracy once the reaction is complete. Adjustment is to drain (“Ex”) at +20 °C reference temperature, ensuring dispensed volumes match the scale because adhesion of liquid to the glass was allowed for in calibration. Volume tolerances correspond to ISO and DIN error limits for accuracy class AS. Features include main-point ring graduation, a Schellbach stripe, a lateral NS stopcock and a 30-second waiting time. Supplied complete with a 2000 ml reservoir bottle and rubber blower from manufacturer Duran/DWK Life Sciences, the set is ready for laboratory use. Class AS burettes carrying a batch number are delivered with a batch certificate that records the batch mean, standard deviation and issue date; certificates are also retrievable online.
