DURAN® reactievat met vlakke flens met gegroefde flens is een laboratoriumreactievat met groot volume, opgevat als alternatief voor klassieke rondbodemkolven. Vervaardigd uit borosilicate glass 3.3, biedt dit vat DN 150 een nominaal volume van 10 l en bestaat uit een onderstuk en een deksel die door een klemring bij elkaar worden gehouden. Het aanbrengen van een pakking of slijpvet voorkomt dat de geslepen vlakken vastlopen. Meerdere standaard slijpstukken die in het deksel zijn geïntegreerd, maken een flexibele aansluiting mogelijk van extra apparatuur zoals druppeltrechters, roerassen en verwante componenten. De flens is voorzien van een groef waarin een O-ring kan worden geplaatst om een dichte afsluiting te verkrijgen.
