DURAN® conus met afvoer, geslepen, NS 71/51 is een precisie-slijpstukcomponent van laboratoriumglas, vervaardigd uit borosilicaatglas 3.3 voor de bouw van apparatuur. Overeenkomend met DIN 12249 Form G heeft deze geslepen conus een geïntegreerde afvoer die als druppelring fungeert. De afvoer is doorgaans schuin afgesneden en versmolten, voorkomt dat vloeistof langs de binnenwand van het vat loopt en houdt media vrij van het ingevette slijpstukoppervlak. De fijnere geslepen afwerking zorgt voor een geringere oppervlakteruwheid voor een betrouwbare afdichtingsprestatie.
