DURAN® slijphuls NS 45/40 is een precisiegeslepen vrouwelijk conisch slijpstukonderdeel, bedoeld voor professionele bouw van glasapparatuur. Geproduceerd uit borosilicaatglas 3.3 volgt de huls de geometrie DIN 12249 Form E en voldoet aan verhoogde eisen voor oppervlakteruwheid. De fijnere slijpkwaliteit vermindert de ruwheidsdiepte, waardoor de benodigde hoeveelheid slijpvet afneemt en het risico dat slijpstukken vastlopen of klemmen tijdens gebruik aanzienlijk lager wordt.
