DURAN® slijpstukhuls NS 71/51 is een precisiegeslepen conische slijphuls, vervaardigd uit borosilicaatglas 3.3, voor gebruik bij de bouw van laboratoriumglasapparatuur. Het conische slijpstuk is het meest voorkomende verbindingstype bij de bouw van glazen apparatuur. Deze slijphulzen komen in ontwerp overeen met DIN 12249 Form E en voldoen aan hogere eisen inzake oppervlakteruwheid. Daardoor wordt de behoefte aan slijpvet verminderd en het risico op vastlopen verlaagd. Slijpstukverbindingen moeten in beginsel worden gebruikt met slijpvet of PTFE-hulzen.
