HABITAT ferment cct S002 is een besturingseenheidpakket voor bioreactorfermentatie met UK-stekker, voor nauwkeurige bewaking en regeling van fermentatieprocessen. De besturingstoren biedt volledige connectiviteit voor gastoevoer, vloeistoftoevoeging, multiparametersensoren en temperatuurregeling, gecombineerd met een gebruiksvriendelijke tablet van 10,4 inch voor eenvoudige bediening van het bioreactorsysteem. Naast standaard vatsensoren voor pH, opgeloste zuurstof, temperatuur, niveau en schuim kunnen CO2-, geleidbaarheids- en troebelheidssensoren als optie worden aangesloten. Aangeboden door fabrikant IKA ondersteunt de software batch-, fed-batch- en perfusie-/continue modi en omvat chaotisch mengen voor effectieve homogenisatie wanneer nodig. Geïntegreerde PID-temperatuurregeling is geschikt voor enkel- of dubbelwandige glazen vaten; gecombineerd met een IKA-thermostaat op dubbelwandige vaten is de temperatuur vrij instelbaar van 5 tot 80 °C. De compacte eenheid meet 223 × 402 × 450 mm (W × D × H) en biedt USB-, PC-, RS232-, Ethernet- en gegevensopslaginterfaces.
