LabSen 753 roestvrijstalen speer-pH-elektrode is een insteek-pH-elektrode met geïntegreerde temperatuursensor voor directe meting in vaste en halfvaste monsters. Gebouwd met gepatenteerde Zwitserse sensortechnologie en materialen van fabrikant APERA Instruments, gebruikt deze een puntig glasmembraan met lage impedantie van het type LabSen S dat volledig gestabiliseerde metingen levert in 15 tot 30 seconden en tot 10 keer robuuster is dan conventionele elektroden, waardoor het breukrisico bij stoot of penetratie duidelijk wordt verlaagd. Polymeerelektrolyt met een diafragmastructuur met open porie maakt direct monstercontact mogelijk zonder verstopping en vereist geen bijvulling. Het long-life referentiesysteem (glazen buis, AgCl en referentiezilverdraad, gevuld met katoen) verbetert de referentiestabiliteit en verlengt de levensduur van de elektrode. Een behuizing van titaniumlegering van voedingskwaliteit beschermt de sensor en is gemakkelijk te reinigen, waardoor de elektrode bijzonder geschikt is voor kaas, meelproducten, vlees, fruit en vergelijkbare voedingsmiddelen. Het meetbereik is 0 tot 14 pH; de aanbevolen bedrijfstemperatuur is 0 tot 80 °C. De elektrodeafmetingen zijn Ø12×115 mm met meetpunt Ø6×50 mm; het diafragma is keramiek plus enkele porie.
