DURAN® protect GL 45-laboratoriumfles, amber en met kunststof gecoat, combineert vrijwel inert USP/EP Type I borosilicaatglas 3.3 aan de binnenzijde met een beschermende polyurethaancoating aan de buitenzijde. De fles van 0.5 l is gevormd uit hoogzuiver ambergecoat glas en vervolgens afgewerkt met een PU-laag die het risico op glasbreuk en vloeistofspatten vermindert als breuk optreedt. Externe bruine kleuring beschermt lichtgevoelige materialen tegen fotodegradatie; UV-bescherming voldoet aan internationale USP/EP-normen. De coating voldoet aan de eisen van ASTM E1522 en biedt kras-, lekkage- en splinterbescherming voor flessen van 5000 ml en kleiner. Een robuust ISO 4796-1-ontwerp en hoogwaardige materialen ondersteunen een lange levensduur. Een gemakkelijk afleesbare gegradueerde volumeschaal en een permanent wit emaille-markeringsveld zijn aanwezig, en de permanent gedrukte Retrace Code garandeert volledige traceerbaarheid van de productie.
