Dompelbom Target is een gericht vloeistofbemonsteringsapparaat ontworpen om monsters precies op een gekozen diepte te verzamelen. Het vat van 500 ml heeft een diameter van 75 mm en wordt geleverd met een ontluchtings-neerlaatslang van 5 m, klep en touwhaspel. Met een nettogewicht van 3.362 kg wordt het aan de trekvaste, afgedichte slang tot de vereiste diepte neergelaten; het openen van de luchtklep aan het slanguiteinde ontlucht en vult de bom, waarna deze wordt opgehaald en geleegd door de schroefsluiting te openen.
