Volumetric pipette, soda-lime glass, Class AS with blue print, CoC and batch certificate is designed for the accurate measuring and transfer of liquids. This 40 ml pipette permits only specific volumes to be filled and dispensed. Adjustment is carried out to deliver (“Ex”) at the reference temperature of +20 °C. Tolerances for the contained volume of calibratable pipettes match the error limits of the German Calibration Ordinance as well as ISO and DIN requirements. Fabricated from soda-lime glass and conforming to Class AS, the pipette features a blue printed scale. Units that combine accuracy class AS with a batch number are delivered together with a batch certificate. This document states the mean value derived from measurements of the given batch, the standard deviation and the issue date; the certificates can also be retrieved online. The batch number comprises four digits, the first two denoting the production year and the following two the batch (for example 18.01). Offered by manufacturer Duran/DWK Life Sciences, the pipette provides full drainage that allows uptake of different liquid quantities and complete delivery of the contents, distinctly shorter waiting times through rapid drainage relative to Class A, and a permanently durable blue print image that is fired into the glass. It is suited to precise measuring and transferring of liquids, volumetry, and the uptake and delivery of a defined total quantity.
