Analytical balance KERN ABP 200-4AM is a premium laboratory balance with the latest Single-Cell generation for extremely fast and stable weighing results. This analytical balance generation combines high precision with large weighing ranges and presents the result in a fraction of the time of comparable models. An intuitively structured menu supports efficient, rapid work. Three automatic sliding doors open and close via sensors, and an ioniser is integrated as standard. A memory function stores how far the doors were opened, helping avoid contamination and accelerate processes; a light touch activates the push function so the doors open or close automatically. The variably adjustable internal draft shield maximises stability of the weighing value. From manufacturer Kern, internal automatic adjustment responds to temperature changes of ≥1 °C and runs time-controlled every 4 h. Minimum sample weight can be stored manually or calculated automatically, with a warning below that value. Dosing aid options include high-stability mode and selectable filters. Combined tare/print supports convenient recipe work with automatic component numbering. Individual settings for up to 10 users, guest mode and rights management are available. Interfaces comprise RS-232 and USB (Device) for weighing data plus USB (Host) for a keyboard. Data integrity support aligns with U.S. FDA 21 CFR Part 11. Menu languages are German and English; automatic data output follows each standstill. A large glass draft shield with three sliding doors and a protective working cover are included. Supplied as 1 piece.

Questions about Analytical Balance KERN ABP 200-4AM
What is this article?
Analytical Balance KERN ABP 200-4AM is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes KERN for laboratory use. It sits in Analytical balances, inside Balances & scales, in Instrumenten.
An analytical balance reads to 0.1 mg or finer, inside a draft shield. It is for standards, for filter weights and for anything where the last digit is the result. Vibration, a slanted bench and a warm sample are how it lies.
A balance compares a mass with a standard. An analytical balance reads to 0.1 mg or finer and needs a draft shield and a stable bench. A precision balance is coarser and faster. A platform scale takes a heavier load. The reading is only as good as the calibration chain back to the kilogram, which is why test weights and a certificate exist. A moisture analyser is a balance with a heater: it records the loss of mass as water leaves. The unit of mass is kept by the BIPM, compared across Europe by EURAMET, and accredited by BELAC. NIST publishes the same measurement foundations.
