Analytical balance KERN ABP 200-5DAM is a premium laboratory balance that unites high precision with generous weighing ranges through the latest Single-Cell generation. Results stabilise in a fraction of the time needed by comparable instruments, and the intuitive menu supports fast, efficient work. Three automatic sliding doors open and close via sensors, while a standard integrated ioniser helps control electrostatic effects on the sample. A memory function stores how far the doors were opened, reducing contamination risk and accelerating routines; a light touch on the doors activates the push function for automatic opening or closing. The variably adjustable internal draft shield maximises stability of the displayed value. Internal automatic adjustment runs when temperature changes by 1 °C or more and on a timed cycle every 4 h, supporting accuracy independent of location. Minimum weight can be entered manually or calculated automatically, with a warning below that threshold. Selectable high-stability and filter modes aid dosing. Combined tare/print supports convenient recipe documentation with automatic component numbering. Individual settings for up to ten users cover name, password, language, profiles and permissions, plus a guest mode. Interfaces include RS-232 and USB (Device) for data transfer and USB (Host) for a keyboard. Data integrity support aligns with U.S. FDA 21 CFR Part 11. Menu languages are German and English. Automatic data output follows each stable reading. A large glass draft shield, multifunction weighing pan and protective working cover are included.
