Homogenisation bag in polyethylene (PE), sterile, with side filter, 190×300 mm and 400 ml capacity, is designed for rapid and effective breakdown of solid samples into the liquid phase. Gamma-irradiated and free from RNase, DNase and pyrogen, these bags help preserve the microbiological status of the sample even at low temperatures. The integrated side filter supports clean separation during homogenisation workflows in microbiology and sample-preparation laboratories. When working with infectious material, the bags can be sealed with a conventional foil sealer to limit aerosol release. Strong PE construction provides reliable handling during blending and transport. Supplied in packs of 500 pieces from manufacturer ISOLAB Laborgeräte, this sterile side-filter variant is one of three available configurations (without filter, side filter or surface filter) for flexible laboratory use.
This article is part of Homogenisers & dispersers, in Stirring, shaking & mixing.

Questions about bag - homogenisation - sterile - with lateral filter
What is this article?
bag - homogenisation - sterile - with lateral filter is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes ISOLAB for laboratory use. It sits in Homogenisers & dispersers, inside Stirring, shaking & mixing, in Instrumenten.
A homogeniser or disperser uses a rotor inside a stator to tear a sample and disperse it. Tip diameter and speed decide the particle size. A generator for 2 mL and a generator for 1 L are different tools on, sometimes, the same drive.
Stirring keeps a mixture uniform or helps a solid dissolve. A magnetic stirrer spins a bar inside a closed vessel. An overhead stirrer drives a shaft when the liquid is viscous or the volume is large. A vortex mixer agitates a tube. A shaker moves a whole rack or a plate. The shape of the impeller and the speed decide whether the liquid turns over or merely spins. The vessels being stirred are indexed under ISO laboratory glassware.
