Beschrijving

BOLA Temperature Probe Lemo Compact EX (PT 100) is a laboratory temperature sensor with a PT 100 measuring element enclosed in a stainless steel tube (1.4571) sheathed with conductive PTFE-EX. The probe diameter is 8 mm, the tip diameter 6 mm and a drop protection ring of 12 mm diameter provides mechanical safeguarding during use. Static charges can be dissipated by means of a grounding clamp; this clamp is not included in the scope of delivery. Connection is made via a Lemo® size 1 socket mounted directly on the probe and configured in 4-wire technique. Typical response times are T50 of 20 to 24 s and T90 of 30 s. Usable probe length is 200 mm with a total length of 270 mm, suitable for deeper immersion points in laboratory apparatus. The dissipative PTFE-EX sheathing supports temperature measurement where electrostatic considerations matter alongside chemical resistance. Offered as a single unit from manufacturer Bohlender, this compact EX design is intended for integration into compatible measurement setups that require a robust PT 100 probe with a direct Lemo coupling and conductive fluoropolymer protection.

Questions about BOLA Temperature Probes Lemo Compact EX (PT 100), Ø 8 mm, L 270 mm Usable length

What is this article?

BOLA Temperature Probes Lemo Compact EX (PT 100), Ø 8 mm, L 270 mm Usable length is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Bohlender for laboratory use. It sits in Temperature probes & sensors, inside Temperature measurement, in Instrumenten.

A temperature probe is the sensor, Pt100, thermocouple or thermistor, that a meter or a logger reads. The probe, not the display, is what is calibrated. The sheath material and the response time matter in a liquid versus a block.

A thermometer reports a temperature. A liquid-in-glass thermometer is a calibrated column. A digital thermometer is a sensor and a display, and the sensor, not the display, is what is calibrated. An infrared thermometer reads a surface and depends on emissivity. A data logger stores the reading over time. Without a stated uncertainty and a calibration point, the number is only an indication. The scale is maintained by the BIPM and compared by EURAMET. Accreditation is BELAC.
