Beschrijving

BOLA Temperature Probe Lemo Compact EX (PT 100) is a compact laboratory temperature sensor built around a PT 100 measuring element housed in a stainless-steel tube (1.4571) sheathed with conductive PTFE-EX. The probe body measures Ø 8 mm, with a refined tip of Ø 6 mm and a drop-protection ring of Ø 12 mm for mechanical stability during handling. Static charges can be dissipated via an earthing clamp (not included). Connection is made through a Lemo® socket size 1 mounted directly on the probe, using 4-wire technology for accurate signal transmission. Typical response times are T50 of 20–24 s and T90 of 30 s. Overall length is 370 mm with a usable immersion length of 300 mm, supplied as a single piece from manufacturer Bohlender. Net weight is 0,11365 kg. This EX-capable compact probe suits temperature monitoring in laboratory and process environments where chemical resistance, controlled electrostatic behaviour and a robust Lemo interface are required.

This article is part of Temperature probes & sensors, in Temperature measurement.

Questions about BOLA Temperature Probes Lemo Compact EX (PT 100), Ø 8 mm, L 370 mm Usable length

What is this article?

BOLA Temperature Probes Lemo Compact EX (PT 100), Ø 8 mm, L 370 mm Usable length is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Bohlender for laboratory use. It sits in Temperature probes & sensors, inside Temperature measurement, in Instrumenten.

A temperature probe is the sensor, Pt100, thermocouple or thermistor, that a meter or a logger reads. The probe, not the display, is what is calibrated. The sheath material and the response time matter in a liquid versus a block.

A thermometer reports a temperature. A liquid-in-glass thermometer is a calibrated column. A digital thermometer is a sensor and a display, and the sensor, not the display, is what is calibrated. An infrared thermometer reads a surface and depends on emissivity. A data logger stores the reading over time. Without a stated uncertainty and a calibration point, the number is only an indication. The scale is maintained by the BIPM and compared by EURAMET. Accreditation is BELAC.
