Cuvette type 119-QS for magnetic stirring bars is a precision spectroscopy cell made from high-performance quartz glass for the wavelength range 200 nm to 2500 nm. Optical path length is 10 mm, filling volume is 3500 µl, and the design includes a PTFE stopper together with a magnetic stirring bar for mixed samples during measurement. Hellma precision cuvettes are manufactured entirely in Germany and fit common spectrophotometers. Thermally bonded rather than glued, the cell offers high resistance to temperature and chemicals and helps prevent unwanted leakage of liquids. Selected high-performance quartz glass provides excellent transmission above 82 % for accurate results, while bevelled edges enable safe, comfortable handling and reduce the risk of chipping. Cells can be cleaned and reused for long service life. Production follows EN ISO 9001 and EN ISO 14001 and meets high optical standards. Associated with the SUPRASIL® quartz grade, this 119 series cuvette supports reproducible spectroscopy where stirring inside the cell and a 10 mm path are required.
