CHROMABOND QuEChERS Mix I (6,5 g) is a ready-to-use citrate extraction salt blend for QuEChERS sample preparation in residue and contaminant analysis. Each portion contains 4000 mg MgSO4, 1000 mg NaCl, 500 mg Na2H-citrate · 1,5 H2O and 1000 mg Na3-citrate · 2 H2O, pre-weighed into a 15 mL polypropylene centrifuge tube closed with a polyethylene lid. The buffered citrate system supports controlled pH during the extraction step and is widely applied to fruit, vegetable and other food matrices prior to dispersive SPE clean-up and chromatographic determination. Supplied in packs of 50 tubes from manufacturer Macherey-Nagel, the format reduces weighing errors and speeds multi-sample workflows in routine laboratories.
