Conical tubes 50 mL with 2D SafeCode are sterile, colourless centrifuge tubes designed for secure sample identification and high-purity laboratory workflows. Each tube is pyrogen-, DNase-, RNase- and DNA-free and manufactured from high-quality polypropylene to protect sample integrity. The two-stage coding system, including ECC 200 error correction, enables reliable code reading even when codes are damaged by up to 25 %. Temperature resistance spans −86 °C to +121 °C, supporting freezing, centrifugation and autoclave conditions. Supplied as 500 tubes (20 bags of 25) from manufacturer Eppendorf, the pack is ready for immediate use. Vessel-specific data such as lot numbers can be retrieved via the Eppendorf dataport for full documentation, with direct import options into eLabInventory and eLabJournal software.
