Counting system KERN CCA 60K-5M is a high-resolution counting system designed to count the smallest components in large quantities, with up to 999,999 pieces shown on the display. By combining a precision reference balance with a high-capacity quantity platform, the CCA arrangement can replace many individual scales in a cost-effective way. Optional verification makes the system suitable for applications that require legal metrology. The two balances communicate via an RS-232 Y-cable, which also provides a connection point for a printer. The reference side is a KERN EWJ precision balance that remains usable as a stand-alone instrument; internal automatic adjustment every 2 h helps maintain accuracy without location dependence. A standard draft shield encloses a weighing space of 134×128×80 mm, and a protective working hood is part of the delivery. Piece counting of bulk lots is performed on the KERN IFS platform scale (Kern), engineered to industrial standards for rough daily use. The ergonomic evaluation unit features a large keypad and high-contrast displays for weight, reference weight and total piece number, 100 master-data memories, manual reference optimisation, piece summing, and date/time output. An aluminium single-point load cell (1×3000 e) with IP65 protection and a cover for the indicator complete the set. Supplied as 1 pc.
