The system can cost-effectively and efficiently replace a broad range of individual scales. It combines the reference balance KERN CFS 3K-5, a professional counting scale that is also usable on its own, with a high-capacity weighing bridge to satisfy high accuracy demands. Reference piece counts and known reference weights are programmable via the keypad. Three displays present weight, reference weight and total piece count. Memory (PLU) holds articles with additional text, reference weight and tare weight, such as that of a container. Fill-to-target programming of target piece count or target weight provides acoustic and optical confirmation when the value is reached. Automatic reference optimisation stepwise improves the average part-weight value. A protective working cover is supplied. High-precision quantity piece counting takes place on the weighing platform of the KERN KFP-V20 IP65 quantity scale from manufacturer Kern. The unit features a stainless steel weighing plate, painted steel substructure, aluminium single-point load cell (1×3000 e) and IP65 dust and splash protection.
