Het polyoxymethylene huis met standaard Buna-N afdichting is gebouwd voor betrouwbare afsluiting en hoge doorstroming in een compacte voetafdruk, met bediening met één hand en automatische vergrendeling bij koppeling. Binnen dezelfde doorstroommaat zijn koppelingen (vrouwelijk) en nippels (mannelijk) uitwisselbaar. Veer- en vergrendelingselementen zijn roestvast staal V4A. Voor het POM huis loopt de bedrijfsdruk bij 20 °C van vacuüm tot 10 bar en de bedrijfstemperatuur van −40 °C tot +80 °C; de O-ringafdichting zorgt voor een dichte verbinding.
