Detecteerbare schep SteriPlast® is een steriele blauwe polystyrene (PS) bemonsteringsschep met een nominaal volume van 0.5 l en een lengte van 280 mm voor eenmalige overdracht van poeders, granulaten en pasta's. Elke schep wordt geproduceerd, geassembleerd en verpakt onder omstandigheden van reinruimteklasse 7, vervolgens afzonderlijk gewikkeld en met gammastraling bestraald ter ondersteuning van steriele wegwerpworkflows. Het blauwe polymeer bevat een speciaal additief dat de schep zichtbaar maakt voor metaaldetectoren, röntgensystemen en kleurscanners, zodat zelfs kunststoffragmenten kunnen worden afgekeurd door standaard inspectielijnen voor vreemde lichamen. Het op conformiteit gerichte ontwerp volgt EU-richtlijnen voor levensmiddelencontact en FDA-richtlijnen en past bij HACCP-, IFS- en BRC-concepten voor beheer van vreemde lichamen.
