Digital force gauge SAUTER FS 2-500 is a premium instrument with an integrated measuring cell for tension and compression applications. Real-time readings appear on the multifunctional 3,5'' touchscreen, whether the unit is used mobile for quick checks or mounted stationary in a test stand or production line. Data can be transferred to a PC or laptop via the standard USB interface, which also supplies power. The gauge is compatible with SAUTER strain-gauge load cells and accepts up to four external measuring cells at once; when external channels are active the internal cell is deactivated. Standard configuration provides two external channels, expandable from two to four, and supports both 4-wire and 6-wire sensors. Sensor-specific data are stored directly in the connector. Adjustable SI units include kg, N, kN, mN, MN, Nm, kNm and mNm. Features comprise track mode, peak-value capture, tolerance function, two-point or numerical adjustment, and 16 GB internal memory. Supplied by manufacturer Kern in a robust systainer® T-LOC system case with plug-in power supply and USB-C cable, the instrument mounts on all SAUTER test stands.
