Het werkvolume van 2.5 ml is met reliëf op het handvat aangebracht; overtollig medium wordt aan de bovenrand afgestreken voor nauwkeurig doseren. Een vlakke voorrand helpt materiaal van de bodem van houders op te nemen en hoeken te bereiken voor grondig legen van residu, terwijl de vlakke basis de lepel laat rusten zonder de inhoud te morsen.
