The protect+ exterior coating of polyamide 12 adds a protective polymer layer around the clear glass body while retaining the practical GL 45 thread geometry widely used for laboratory closures. This larger-volume configuration supports routine handling, temporary storage and transport of liquids and media in the laboratory environment. The bottle is offered by manufacturer Duran/DWK Life Sciences as a ready-to-use unit complete with the dust protection cap.
