DURAN® Spherical Joint Socket S 40/25 is een precisie-geconstrueerd glazen onderdeel, vervaardigd uit borosilicaatglas 3.3, voor het tot stand brengen van flexibele kogelgewrichtsverbindingen met slijpstuk in laboratoriumapparatuur. Conform DIN 12244 en DIN 12264 maakt deze huls in imperiale maat een hoekflexibiliteit tot 15° mogelijk, afhankelijk van de gewrichtsmaat, terwijl hoeken groter dan 5° de afdichtingsintegriteit kunnen verminderen. De nominale maat komt overeen met de nominale diameter van het kogelgewricht.
