Gemaakt van borosilicaatglas 3.3, draagt de kolf van 25 ml een uitwendige ambercoating die UV-bescherming biedt terwijl het inwendige glasoppervlak volledig ongewijzigd blijft, zodat de chemische bestendigheid en de prestaties van DURAN® intact blijven. Klasse A biedt de nauwste volumetrische toleranties; de kolf is ingesteld op inhoud (In) bij +20 °C, gemarkeerd met een permanente witte ringverdeling en voorzien van een geslepen slijpstuk NS 10/19. Elk exemplaar draagt een viercijferig batchnummer en gaat vergezeld van een conformiteitscertificaat plus batchcertificaat met gemiddelde waarde, standaardafwijking en uitgiftedatum; certificaten zijn ook online opvraagbaar.
