DURAN® hogetemperatuur-schroefdop GL 14 is een rode laboratoriumflesafsluiting, vervaardigd uit polybutylene terephthalate (PBT) en voorzien van een PTFE-gecoate, peroxide-verknoopte silicone pakking. De PTFE-gecoate afdichting biedt een hoge dichtheid en een superieure chemische bestendigheid vergeleken met conventionele polypropylene afsluitingen en vormt een veilige afdichting met de flessenhals. Vervaardigd uit PBT, PTFE, silicone en glasvezel, is de dop volledig autoclaveerbaar bij 121 °C of 134 °C en geschikt voor sterilisatie met droge hitte. Een bijpassende rode ETFE-schenkring is afzonderlijk verkrijgbaar om schoon, druppelvrij doseren te ondersteunen.
