EC60-Z Smart conductivity meter is a latest-generation instrument for straightforward, reliable determination of conductivity, TDS, salinity, resistivity and temperature in water analysis. Simply connect the meter to a smartphone to follow the ZenTest Mobile App’s step-by-step measurement guidance; the device also functions fully without a phone. A durable platinum-coated electrode ensures long service life. Features include an out-of-range alarm, multiple app display modes for accurate reading or quick trend overview, and cloud data management that allows measurement and calibration data to be shared directly by e-mail. Conductivity spans 0 to 199,9 μS/cm, 200,0 to 1999 μS/cm and 2,0 to 20,00 mS/cm with automatic temperature compensation from 0 to 50 °C; TDS ranges from 0,1 ppm to 10,00 ppt, salinity from 0 to 10,00 ppt and specific resistance from 50 Ω·cm to 20 MΩ·cm. Temperature is measured from 0 to 50 °C. Powered by four AAA batteries for up to 1000 hours, the IP67 housing is waterproof and floatable. Dimensions are 40×40×178 mm (case 255×210×50 mm) and weight is 133 g (700 g with case). The complete set from manufacturer APERA Instruments includes calibration solutions (1413 μS/cm and 12,88 mS/cm, 50 ml each), two calibration vials, carrying strap, carrying case and operating instructions, with a 2-year manufacturer warranty (6 months on the electrode). Compatible with the EC60-DE electrode.

Questions about EC60-Z Smart Conductivity Meter (powered by ZenTest Mobile App)
What is this article?
EC60-Z Smart Conductivity Meter (powered by ZenTest Mobile App) is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes APERA Instruments for laboratory use. It sits in Conductivity meters & cells, inside pH & electrochemistry, in Instrumenten.
A conductivity meter and its cell measure how well a solution carries current. The cell constant is the geometry that converts conductance to conductivity, and it is calibrated with a standard. Temperature compensation matters because conductivity rises with temperature.
A pH meter is a voltmeter on a glass electrode. The voltage tracks hydrogen-ion activity, and the electrode is converted to pH only after it is adjusted with buffers of known value. Conductivity measures how well a solution carries a current, which for dilute salts tracks concentration. Dissolved oxygen and titration are further electrodes on the same idea: a sensor, a standard, and a reading that is only as fresh as the calibration. Buffer values and chemical identity sit on PubChem. Accreditation of the calibration laboratory is the field of BELAC and EURAMET.
