Beschrijving
Extraction system SER 148/6 is a six-position Randall extractor engineered for high-throughput determination of soluble products such as fats, plasticizers and pesticides. The Randall principle yields results up to five times faster than Soxhlet extraction, reduces solvent consumption and keeps analysis costs low. Operator safety complies with IP55. Principal application fields cover food, feed, rubber and plastics, pharmaceuticals and soil. Each extraction vessel holds up to 150 ml; the working temperature span is 100–260 °C and sample loads of 0,5–15 g (typically 2–3 g) are accommodated. Solvent recovery lies between 50 and 75 % and reproducibility is better than 1 %. An RS232 interface is provided for instrument communication. The six-place configuration consumes 950 W and occupies 700 × 620 × 390 mm at roughly 40 kg. Offered as a ready-to-use unit from manufacturer LAT, the SER 148/6 combines speed, economy and robust construction for demanding laboratory extraction workflows.

Questions about Extraktionssystem SER 148/6
What is this article?
Extraktionssystem SER 148/6 is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes LAT for laboratory use. It sits in Laboratory glass thermometers, inside Temperature measurement, in Instrumenten.
A liquid-in-glass thermometer is a calibrated column, often with a stated immersion depth, total or partial. The range and the division decide the reading. A partial-immersion thermometer read at the wrong depth is wrong by design.
A thermometer reports a temperature. A liquid-in-glass thermometer is a calibrated column. A digital thermometer is a sensor and a display, and the sensor, not the display, is what is calibrated. An infrared thermometer reads a surface and depends on emissivity. A data logger stores the reading over time. Without a stated uncertainty and a calibration point, the number is only an indication. The scale is maintained by the BIPM and compared by EURAMET. Accreditation is BELAC.
