Flow-through cuvette (compact) type 178.712-QS is a precision optical cell manufactured from high-performance quartz glass for spectrophotometry from 200 nm to 2500 nm. It features a 10 mm path length, Ø 1,5 mm aperture and 8,5 mm centre height, delivering an internal volume of 18 µl. Two M6 screw connectors with FEP tubing enable continuous-flow measurements in all common spectrophotometer systems. Thermally bonded construction from manufacturer Hellma provides outstanding chemical and thermal resistance and prevents unintended leakage. Selected high-performance quartz glass ensures transmission greater than 82 % for exact, reproducible results. Bevelled edges facilitate safe, comfortable handling and reduce chipping risk. The reusable design permits repeated cleaning, offering a sustainable laboratory solution. Produced entirely in Germany under EN ISO 9001 and EN ISO 14001, these Hellma® SUPRASIL® precision cuvettes combine tight path-length accuracy and parallelism for consistent optical performance across UV-Vis and near-IR applications.
