Het HABITAT cell S002-pakket besturingseenheid is een bioreactor-besturingstoren voor celkweek, geleverd met een UK-stekker en ontworpen voor nauwkeurige procesbewaking en -regeling. De toren integreert aansluitingen voor gastoevoer, vloeistoftoevoeging, multiparametersensoren en temperatuurregeling, bediend via een gebruiksvriendelijke 10,4-inch-tablet. Batch-, fed-batch- en perfusie-/continu-modi zijn beschikbaar, met optioneel chaotisch mengen voor homogene agitatie. Vier ingebouwde massflowregelaars doseren N2, O2, lucht en CO2 van 0.01 tot 2 L/min, terwijl cascaderegeling de gasstroom automatisch aanpast om de streefwaarden aan te houden. Vier bidirectionele Watson-Marlow-pompen bieden nauwkeurige, flexibele dosering van zuren, basen, antischuim en voedingsoplossingen voor zoogdiercelmedia. PID-temperatuurregeling werkt met enkelwandige vaten via verwarmingsdeken of koelvinger, en met dubbelwandige vaten plus een IKA-thermostaat over 5–80 °C. De compacte voetafdruk meet 223 × 402 × 450 mm (W × D × H). Interfaces omvatten USB, PC, RS232, Ethernet, extern signaal, externe pomp, single-use-eenheid en thermostaat.
