HALO™ Bluetooth® pH/°C-elektrode met vlakke punt is een draadloze pH-sensor voor directe oppervlaktemetingen. Gebouwd met Bluetooth® Smart-technologie (Bluetooth® 4), lagetemperatuurglas en een geïntegreerde temperatuursensor combineert zij een open junctie met een zilvervrije Viscolene-hardgelelektrolyt tussen het monster en de interne dubbele Ag/AgCl-referentie. De vlakke glazen punt is bijzonder geschikt voor metingen op huid, leer en in petrischalen met bacterieculturen. Meetgegevens worden verzonden naar de gratis Hanna Lab App op een gekoppeld smartapparaat of naar de edge® blu-pH-meter. Verbinding met één druk maakt een draadloze koppeling tot 10 m tot stand, terwijl een blauwe Halo-LED aangeeft dat de elektrode actief is en gegevens verzendt. Interne opslag van kalibratiegegevens betekent dat geen herkalibratie nodig is wanneer het gekoppelde apparaat wordt gewisseld, en de ingebouwde temperatuursensor zorgt voor automatische temperatuurcompensatie.
