Hij werkt op 230 VAC bij 700 W en laat een maximaal toelaatbare bedrijfstemperatuur van 450 °C toe. Het handgehaakte verwarmingslichaam van glaszijde bevordert gelijkmatige warmteoverdracht naar de kolf. Twee verwarmingszones worden geselecteerd via een serie-parallel-draaischakelaar met standen OFF / 25 % / 50 % / 100 %: 25 % verbindt zones 1 en 2 in serie, 50 % bekrachtigt alleen de onderste zone en 100 % laat beide zones parallel werken.
