Verwarmingsband PILZ® WBS is een met silicone geïsoleerde flexibele verwarmingsband met beschermgeleidervlecht voor laboratorium-, proefinstallatie- en industrieel gebruik waar snelle opwarming of verhoogde temperaturen vereist zijn. De band levert een constant specifiek vermogen van 100 W/m en een totaal nominaal vermogen van 1570 W over een lengte van 16 m bij 230 VAC, met een maximale bedrijfstemperatuur van 200 °C. De constructie omvat vier verwarmingsgeleiders, silicone-isolatie en een buitenvlecht van vertinde koperdraden voor vochtbescherming en mechanische sterkte. De doorsnede is 13 × 5 mm met een minimale buigradius groter dan 9 mm, wat extreme flexibiliteit en eenvoudige montage rond leidingen, vaten of apparatuur geeft. Een in de fabriek gemonteerde aansluitleiding van 1.5 m maakt de band gereed voor netaansluiting.
