Hellma® semi-micro cell type 104-QS is a semi-micro measuring cell with D = 5 mm and a filling volume of 700 µl, supplied as one piece complete with a PTFE seamed lid. The 5 mm D specification and 700 µl volume define the working geometry of this type 104-QS cell for laboratory use where a reduced sample volume is required. A PTFE seamed lid is included so the 700 µl contents can be covered during preparation, transfer and measurement. Packed as a single unit, the cell weighs 0,010 kg. Type 104-QS from manufacturer Hellma is chosen when methods specify D = 5 mm, a 700 µl fill and a PTFE seamed closure. In photometric laboratory work, the semi-micro format aligns the 700 µl volume with the 5 mm D of the cell.
