IJsboor V4A met binnen- × buitendiameter 8 × 10 mm en een boordiepte van 100 mm is een robuuste holle kernmonsternemer voor diepgevroren en halfvaste materialen. Bestemd voor bevroren producten in de voedings- en genotmiddelensector alsook voor halfvaste stoffen, snijdt de scherpe zaagkroon snel in de monstermatrix zodat een cilindrische dwarsdoorsnedekern kan worden verwijderd. Het gereedschap wordt op een gangbare commerciële boormachine gemonteerd en gaat met weinig kracht tot de vereiste diepte, waardoor een representatieve kern uit alle lagen van het bevroren medium mogelijk is.
