Cultuurkweekapparaat (Aerne control) 2x5 liter is een compacte laboratoriumincubator voor gecontroleerd cultuurwerk met een dubbele capaciteit van 5 L. De witte polypropylene omhulling heeft een materiaaldikte van 10 mm en is gemonteerd op een onderstel van geanodiseerd aluminium, gemaakt van vierkante buizen van 25 × 25 mm. Parameterinvoer verloopt via een draaibaar membraantoetsenbord met vijf programmeerbare instelbereiken en automatische parameteropslag. De procesvensters omvatten pasteurisatietemperatuur 10 °C–99 °C en pasteurisatietijd 1 min tot 100 uur, rijpingstemperatuur 10 °C–60 °C en rijpingstijd 1 min tot 100 uur, en eindkoeling 10 °C–40 °C. Het cultuurvat is van chroomnikkelstaal, compleet met deksel en roerder; de moederkweekfles is van glas de Duran. Een verwarmingselement van chroomnikkelstaal en een circulatiepomp van 15 L/min handhaven de thermische uniformiteit, terwijl de waterinlaat een slangaansluiting van ½ inch accepteert. De elektrische aansluiting is 3~400/N/PE 16 A. Geleverd door fabrikant Aerne Analytic, is het systeem geschikt voor cultuurbereiding, rijping en gecontroleerde koelstappen in laboratoriumincubatie-werkstromen.
