The weighing plate features a smooth surface screwed from above, making it simple to detach and clean to a high hygienic standard. Four silicone-coated alloy steel load cells provide dust and splash-water protection rated IP67. Evaluation is performed with a KERN KFC-TM style terminal and the comfortable IoT-Line operating philosophy from manufacturer Kern. Via the KERN Universal Port (KUP), data and control commands can be exchanged through a housing interface or, with a KUP Extension Box, across three interfaces simultaneously for Industry 4.0 workflows. A standard real-time clock timestamps weighing results and retains correct time after power interruptions. A table stand with wall mount for the display unit and a protective working cover are included. Supplied as 1 pc, the scale has a net weight of 150 kg, gross weight 200 kg, and packaging dimensions 0,36 m × 1,615 m × 1,33 m.
