Iscove's Modified Dulbecco's Medium (IMDM) with- L-Glutamine, without Alpha-Thioglycerol, without Beta-Mercaptoethanol, is a Dulbecco's modification and is considered a more complex and enriched media. IMDM is utilized for a variety of specialized cell types and also as the basis for some of the more unique serum-free media formulations.
