LabSen 843 gecombineerde pH/temperatuurelektrode is ontworpen voor nauwkeurige pH-meting in sterk basische oplossingen in het bereik 10–14 pH. Gebouwd met gepatenteerde Zwitserse sensortechnologie en materialen van fabrikant APERA Instruments, integreert deze een temperatuursensor die automatische temperatuurcompensatie mogelijk maakt. Het gespecialiseerde LabSen HA-glasmembraan verbetert de nauwkeurigheid en reproduceerbaarheid in sterke basen en minimaliseert de alkalifout. Het halfbolvormige membraan is zeer stootvast—tot tien keer robuuster dan conventionele ontwerpen—waardoor het breukrisico aanzienlijk afneemt. Een referentiesysteem met zilverionenvanger werkt samen met de referentie met lange levensduur om diafragmablokkering of verontreiniging door silver sulphide te voorkomen. Blauw gelelektrolyt blijft onbeweeglijk en vermijdt luchtbelvorming. De loodvrije glazen schacht meet Ø12 × 120 mm en bevat een keramisch diafragma.
