LR-2.ST Starvisc 200 S002 is a modular laboratory reactor configured with a UK plug for optimising and reproducing chemical reaction, mixing and homogenising processes at laboratory scale. During product development the integrated STARVISC 200-2.5 control torque-measuring stirrer already indicates whether the prepared material will meet application requirements. Special stirrer-shaft couplings transmit the high motor torque safely, enabling intensive mixing of highly viscous substances while viscosity is shown simultaneously. Free connections on the reactor lid allow mounting of dispersing devices (ULTRA-TURRAX®), temperature probes, flow breakers and further accessories. All product-contact seals are fabricated from solvent- and temperature-resistant perfluoroelastomer (FFPM). Speed is steplessly adjustable and maintained constant under load by microprocessor regulation; a torque-trend display monitors viscosity changes. The reactor is vacuum-capable and features a removable Wireless Controller (WiCo) for safe operation in a laboratory fume hood. Supplied by manufacturer IKA as a complete 1 pc unit with a net weight of 27,000 kg.
