Beschrijving

Mini-Flash is a compact non-contact infrared thermometer that determines surface temperature without touching the object, reading the infrared radiation emitted by every body. The measurement range covers -33 °C to +220 °C with a response time of 0,5 s, supporting fast checks in laboratory, process, and facility environments. Selectable °C/°F display, maximum/minimum memory, automatic hold for about 15 seconds, and a lock function for continuous operation give flexible readout options during spot checks or longer observation. Stated accuracy is ±1,5 °C from 0 °C to 50 °C, otherwise ±2 °C or 2 %. Operating ambient range is 0 °C to 50 °C. The plastic housing measures 68 × 37 × 18 mm and weighs 75 g; power comes from one CR2032 button cell. This pocket-sized instrument from manufacturer LAT suits quick temperature screening of equipment, samples, and surfaces where contact probes are impractical. Pack size is 1 piece for individual workstation or field use.

This article is part of Laboratory glass thermometers, in Temperature measurement.

Questions about Mini-flash thermometer

What is this article?

Mini-flash thermometer is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes LAT for laboratory use. It sits in Laboratory glass thermometers, inside Temperature measurement, in Instrumenten.

A liquid-in-glass thermometer is a calibrated column, often with a stated immersion depth, total or partial. The range and the division decide the reading. A partial-immersion thermometer read at the wrong depth is wrong by design.

A thermometer reports a temperature. A liquid-in-glass thermometer is a calibrated column. A digital thermometer is a sensor and a display, and the sensor, not the display, is what is calibrated. An infrared thermometer reads a surface and depends on emissivity. A data logger stores the reading over time. Without a stated uncertainty and a calibration point, the number is only an indication. The scale is maintained by the BIPM and compared by EURAMET. Accreditation is BELAC.
