Novartos V4A tip is a replaceable, non-rounded sampling tip for Novartos powder sampling lances, intended where a pointed geometry is required for direct penetration of sacks or other containers. Manufactured in V4A, the tip is very sharp and mechanically stable so that it can be driven into packaging without deformation under normal sampling loads. It is fitted in place of the standard tip on the sampling lance, allowing users to adapt the same Novartos system to bagged powders, granules or similar bulk goods that must be accessed through outer packaging.
