Reactievat, cilindrisch, gegradueerd met groef in de vlakke flens. In de bodem van het reactievat is een aftapkraan ingebouwd. Reactievaten tot 6 liter met een kraanopening Ø van 10 mm; vanaf 10 liter met een kraanopening Ø van 20 mm. Het reactievat met vlakke flens wordt gesloten met een deksel dat apart verkrijgbaar is. Beide delen worden bij elkaar gehouden door een klemring. Een afdichtring, of het gebruik van slijpvet, voorkomt dat de slijpvlakken vastlopen. Geschikte siliconen- en FEP-afdichtringen zijn apart verkrijgbaar. Het vat met vlakke flens kan worden gecombineerd met andere componenten (bijv. koelers, roerassen en druppeltrechters) door middel van diverse standaardslijpstukken in het deksel.Toepassingsgebieden: preparatieve werkzaamheden, zoals algemene reacties, destillaties en verdampingen.
