Beschrijving

Resistance thermometer WT-K-6/100-2000 PHYSICS 0,01 °C is a Pt100 cable resistance thermometer for precise laboratory temperature measurement. Built to DIN EN 60751 Class A in 4-wire technology, it features a stainless-steel protection tube of 6 mm diameter and 100 mm nominal length with a directly attached 2 m connection cable. The cable is VA wire-braid/Teflon insulated, and a PTFE coating runs from the measuring tip to about 20 mm onto the lead for chemical protection at the sensor head. The stated operating range is −50 °C to +200 °C. Connection is made via a Physics plug that provides 0,01 °C resolution and is intended for use with PHYSICS 100 and PHYSICS 300 instruments. This PTFE-sheathed assembly from manufacturer Schneider suits research and routine laboratory work where Class A accuracy, defined probe geometry and a robust cable construction are required. The standard configuration supports reliable temperature acquisition in setups that demand a compact stainless-steel stem and high-resolution digital readout through the Physics interface.

This article is part of Laboratory glass thermometers, in Temperature measurement.

Questions about RESISTANCE THERMOMETER, WT-K-6/100-2000 PHYSICS 0,01°C #Standard

What is this article?

RESISTANCE THERMOMETER, WT-K-6/100-2000 PHYSICS 0,01°C #Standard is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Schneider for laboratory use. It sits in Laboratory glass thermometers, inside Temperature measurement, in Instrumenten.

A liquid-in-glass thermometer is a calibrated column, often with a stated immersion depth, total or partial. The range and the division decide the reading. A partial-immersion thermometer read at the wrong depth is wrong by design.

A thermometer reports a temperature. A liquid-in-glass thermometer is a calibrated column. A digital thermometer is a sensor and a display, and the sensor, not the display, is what is calibrated. An infrared thermometer reads a surface and depends on emissivity. A data logger stores the reading over time. Without a stated uncertainty and a calibration point, the number is only an indication. The scale is maintained by the BIPM and compared by EURAMET. Accreditation is BELAC.
