Sabouraud 4 % Glucose Agar (with chloramphenicol) is a dehydrated nutrient medium for microbiology, intended for the cultivation and examination of yeasts and moulds. The formulation is aligned with ISO 11133 and ISO 16212 and includes chloramphenicol to limit bacterial growth while supporting fungal recovery in selective culture workflows. Supplied as a 500 g plastic pack from manufacturer Carl ROTH, the powder is reconstituted according to standard media-preparation practice for plates or tubes used in environmental analysis and routine microbiological testing.
