Measuring 229 x 140 mm with a nominal volume of 0,65 l, it is made from low-density polyethylene (LDPE) with a film thickness of 0,05 mm, giving a tear-resistant, liquid-tight and transparent construction. The integrated write-on panel supports clear sample identification, while wire bow ends sealed into the film help prevent skin injuries during handling. When used correctly, sterile samples can be taken; the bags are sterile as well as RNase-, DNase- and pyrogen-free.
